Hi, I'm Åsa — I built this career as a single mom, starting from nothing
May 2017: Divorced, broke, two kids (5 and 8), no options. My airline went bankrupt. All my friends left Spain. I was stuck.
November 2018: Enrolled in Ironhack bootcamp with borrowed money. 9 weeks of intense learning while raising two kids alone — and hired as a frontend developer the same month I finished.
2018–2025: Seven years shipping production software for international companies, including applications for a well-known automotive company. Doubled my salary. All while working remotely a few days a week.
